Copilot in OneDrive is an AI-powered assistant that helps you work with your files. Instead of opening, reading, and sorting through files one at a time, you can ask Copilot to analyze information across your files, create new content from that information, organize your files and folders, and automate repeatable tasks.
Prerequisites
Copilot in OneDrive is available in OneDrive for Business on the web. You need a Microsoft 365 Copilot license to use Copilot in OneDrive and SharePoint.
Note
Copilot in OneDrive is rolling out, so not all features are available to all users everywhere.
What Copilot in OneDrive can do for you
- Analyze information across your files: Ask Copilot to work across multiple documents to answer complex questions, identify trends and patterns, and find key details without opening each file.
- Create presentations, PDFs, and HTML reports: Turn information in your files into new presentations and PDFs, or visualize that information in an HTML report.
- Organize your files and folders: Tell Copilot how you like to work, and ask it to organize your files and folders to match your preferences.
- Automate your work with skills: Save a repeatable, multistep workflow as a skill in Copilot in OneDrive, and reuse it whenever you need it.
