Rewrite text with Copilot in OneNote

Use Copilot to rewrite text in OneNote

Use the Rewrite feature with Copilot in OneNote to help adjust writing style and tone. You can rewrite selected text or the whole page.

  1. Right-click on the page or selected text you want to rewrite with Copilot.
  2. Select Copilot then Rewrite page or Rewrite this.
  3. Depending on your text, follow the Copilot prompts for the rewrite, for example "Make this rewrite more concise and engaging", "Adapt it for a presentation script", or "Use a more scholarly, polished tone".
  4. When you’re satisfied with the result, position the cursor in your page where you want the rewrite to appear.
  5. Select Add to doc to insert the rewrite.
